Well, yeah, it’s hard to argue with this, but you should also keep in mind that those are quite new and still developing. As for the most well-known product we can agree that Apple Watch is the perfect candidate for such title. Ok, you’ve bought your new shiny SmartWatch, connected it with iPhone and now enjoy it in everyday use. Nevertheless, there is logical question – what to do with classic timepieces that you might’ve bought before?
Another thing is that Apple Watch now available in different color/material combinations, so users differ from teenagers up to celebrities, who choose gold edition. It’s safe to say that such people have watches collection and some favorite timepieces in it.

Что касается самого известного продукта здесь, то мы можем согласиться на варианте Apple Watch. Итак, вы купили новые, красивые новые часы, подключили их к айфону, и теперь носите каждый день. Тем не менее, возникает логичный вопрос – что делать с обычными часами, которые вы купили прежде?
Ещё один нюанс – Apple Watch сейчас доступны в разных комбинациях цветов и материалов, так что пользователями бывают как молодежь, так и обеспеченные/знаменитые люди, которые выбирают золотой вариант. Можно сказать, что у подобных людей наверняка есть коллекция часов и любимые экземпляры в ней.
I saw some people wearing mechanic watch on one hand and Apple product on another. We can agree that this is not a perfect option, especially if watches have different color. Moreover, it’s still easier to check time with help of good old hands on clean watchface then to flick SmatWatch when you would like to see current time. I wouldn’t mention situation when battery on the Apple Watch dries out and you won’t have possibility to check time.
Я уже видел людей, которые носят обычные часы на одной руке, а продукт от Apple – на другой. Мы можем согласиться, что это не совсем идеальный вариант, особенно если часы разных цветов. Более того, всегда проще узнать время посредством старых добрых стрелок на понятном циферблате, чем махать “умными” часами чтобы увидеть цифры. Я не буду упоминать ситуацию, когда батарейка на Apple Watch садится, и у вас просто чёрный экран на руке.
Sinn decided to solve this issue in own quite unusual way, which is called as Dual Strap System. I’ve had a chance to play with it in Basel and now share with you impression and opinion about this product. They want to free customers from new dilemma what to wear today – classic timepiece or Apple Watch.
As manufacturer claims, there are many situations when wearing two watches on one hand can be useful – on trips, meetings or any other occurrences when you need to have more info available right on your wrist. Dual Buckle system in the new product should provide comfort in everyday use. It’s fully adjustable and can be trimmed right for your wrist.
Sinn решили исправить данную вещь необычным способом, который они назвали Dual Strap System. У меня был шанс поиграть с ним в Базеле, и теперь я могу поделиться с вами впечатлениями. Они (Sinn) хотят помочь клиентам решить дилемму выбора между часами и Apple Watch.
Как заявляет производитель, бывает много ситуаций, когда ношение двух часов на одной руке пригодится – в поездках, встречах и во многих других случаях, в которых нужно иметь как можно больше информации на запястье. Система Dual Buckle в новинке должна обеспечить комфортное ношение. Она полностью настраивается и может быть подогнана точно под ваше запястье.
As it was said before, we shouldn’t forget about current issue with SmartWatches – battery life, and here Dual Strap System also comes handy. Even though Apple is trying to make Apple Watch more “independent”, when you forget your phone, it’s not that useful, and you will be able to check time on your classic mechanic watch.
New product is quite simple – there are two shortened strap halves (each has its own buckle) which should be attached to each watch. Such design makes it possible to ensure proper fixation of watches on your hand without any notable discomfort. Moreover, manufacturer includes connecting strap, which should come handy if you would like to wear one watch at any day.
Как уже упоминалось, не будем забывать об основной проблеме с “умными” часами – времени работы от батарейки, и здесь Dual Strap System также пригодится. Хотя Apple и пытается сделать собственный продукт более “независимым”, если вы забудете телефон, часы лишатся множества функций, так что будет проще проверить время на обычных часах.
Новинка довольна проста – в комплекте идут два коротких ремня (каждый со своей пряжкой) каждый из которых крепится к часам. Подобный дизайн был выбран для обеспечения надёжной фиксации часов на вашей руке без лишнего дискомфорта. Более того, производитель даёт соединяющий ремень, который пригодится, если вы пожелаете носить одни из двух часов.
Of course, possibility to wear together classic watch and SmartWatch sounds interesting. After few easy steps you will get a nice-looking “construction” on your wrist, which will come handy in different situations. It’s always easier to read SMS or email on your watch without taking out smartphone, right? 🙂 Well, yeah, it’s hard to disagree with those words. Nevertheless, as it was mentioned, I’ve played with Strap System in Basel, and there are few things to consider.
First of all this is definitely not a woman product, leather black strap literally emits masculine image and looks gorgeous on hand. I can’t imagine it on thin woman’s hand. 😀
Second, you should keep in mind that weight will be doubled. We all love heavy mechanic timepieces, which you can feel on your hand, but now think about this value plus Apple Watch. Of course, it’s heavier and again will require man’s hand to wear.
Third, I hope in the future we would see different type of the strap – silicone material with “clickable” buckle would be also nice for everyday use. Different colors might be also appreciated. 🙂
Fourth, size/color coordination between two timepieces is important in my opinion. Of course, with SmartWatch you can solve this with wallpaper on the screen, but classic watch is a different case. On the photos you can see Apple product combined with one of Sinn products, and I can say it is a perfect match. Keep in mind also that Sinn supplies two types of lugs for 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch.
Fifth, keep in mind that one out of two will have to be on the opposite side, touching table and many other things. Therefore it’s important to have sapphire glass and Tegiment technology, which are recommended by Sinn.
Разумеется, возможность ношения классических и “умных” часов вместе звучит довольно интересно. После простых операций вы получите аккуратно выглядщую “конструкцию” на вашем запястье, которая пригодится во многих ситуациях. Намного проще прочитать СМС или имэйл на ваших часах, не вынимая при этом телефон, не так ли? 🙂 Да, с данным утверждением сложно не согласиться. Тем не менее, как я уже говорил, у меня был шанс поиграть с Strap System в Базеле, и есть несколько нюансов, которые стоит иметь ввиду.
Во-первых, это явно не женский продукт, чёрный кожаный ремень просто излучает мужество и отлично выглядит на руке. Я просто не могу представить его на тонком женском запястье. 😀
Во-вторых, стоит помнить, что вес увеличится чуть ли не вдвое. Нам всем нравятся тяжёлые часы, которые ощущаются на руке, а теперь представьте их вместе с граммами от Apple Watch. Разумеется, всё это будет тяжелее и потребует мужской руки для ношения.
В-третьих, я надеюсь, что в будущем мы увидим другой тип ремня – из силикона с защёлкивающейся застёжкой, которые тоже будут удобны в ношении. Новые цвета также могут пригодиться. 🙂
В-четвёртых, единство цветов и размеров очень важно при подборе часов в данную пару. Разумеется, на “Умных” часах всё можно решить заставкой на дисплее, но вот с классическими не всё так просто. На фото вы можете видеть продукт от Apple соединённый с одной из моделей Sinn, по-моему, здесь всё выглядит отлично. Не забывайте, что производитель даёт ремни для двух размеров корпуса – 38 и 42мм.
В-пятых, стоит помнить, что одни часы будут на противоположной стороне, касаться стола и многих других вещей. Именно поэтому важно иметь сапфировое стекло и технологию Tegiment, как это рекомендуется компанией Sinn.
