Sinn U1 S Preview

Sinn U1 S

Another preview, and this time we check one more military watch – Sinn U1 S, which should be presented on Baselworld 2017. As you can see on the main photos, German watchmaker decided to bring new diving watch in a slightly updated design. Well, newcomer is not a “shelf queen” and should be ready to take some beating under water. Let’s take a closer look at published info.

New model is made out of German submarine steel, which is resistant to seawater and features excellent durability qualities. As for water resistance, this watch can survive up to 1000m, what is quite impressive. I guess, there are few competitors, which can offer the same level of protection. Moreover, it’s tested and certified by EU diving equipment standards, so if you were searching for the right tool – check this one. Of course, there is no transparent back cover, and front is enclosed with sapphire glass. Note also crown positioning, which is placed on 4 hours mark in order to avoid extra pressure on your wrist.

New Sinn U1 S offers casing covered with Tegiment technology, which will provide even more resistant black color, and you won’t have scratches here and there. Moreover, watch dial and bezel are marked with red accents, what brings visual interest to overall appearance. All marks and hands are covered with luminescent color and should be visible in dark environment. Newcomer should be available in versions with metal and rubber bands, so final choice will be up to you. On the photos you can see both Sinn U1 S types. Of course, I recommend to get metal band with this watch for even more serious look.
As I said before, we will share with you first look and our impressions as soon as we’ll touch new Sinn U1 S. 🙂
