Out Of Order is going to present several new models on the upcoming BaselWorld 2017. One of them, Scarabeo, was shown here in the article on OneWheee. Today’s preview is dedicated to the second one, which is named as Calabrone and not a wristwatch, but pocketwatch. Italian company decided to tackle new form-factor in their original style.

Newcomer is not big (at least by pocketwatch standards) and measure 47mm of the stainless steel casing. Front is covered with mineral glass, so it is better to be careful in order to avoid scratches. Moreover, pocket design is maintained with help of galvanized chain or leather lace (with hand-stitching), which are replaceable.
Inside Out Of Order Calabrone you will find Seagull 6497-1 manual winding movement, which should add to overall timekeeping ritual. Just imagine doing winding with this nice crown on the top.
Of course, case is weathered with patented technology, but take a look at packaging – it’s also finished the same style. This box is made out of wood with plexiglass cover, so that you can appreciate beauty inside. All this looks nice and unusual as always with Out Of Order watches, and I hope soon we will try them in person.
