You all probably heard about car design awards, furniture design awards, and even electronics design awards. What about watch movement design award? German Meistersinger shared with us news that they’ve received design award for their in-house movement. Manufacturer claims that this is second most important award after Red Dot and it’s valuable for them.

Немецкая компания Meistersinger поделилась с нами новостями о том, что они получили приз за свой механизм. Производитель заявляет, что это вторая по важности награда после хорошо знакомого Red Dot.

While all those awards evaluate external appearance of the watch, mentioned award turned its attention inside casing and decided to give prize to the most beautiful in their opinion. Some might say that this is just a watch movement, but this is not a case with Meistersinger MSH-01 hand-wound, which can be exhibited on its own. Typical for Meistersinger polished steel finish and symmetrical design add to attractiveness of this mechanism. We won’t dive into mechanical specifications, it’s enough to say that German precision here is combined with perfect design cues, and it’s quite a shame to hide such beauty inside watch casing. From the other side there is only one hand, which shows time, and it’s traditional Meistersinger solution, so at least in this your watch will be special. (Text by T.Seyitniyazov)

Типичная для Meistersinger полированная сталь и симметричный дизайн только усиливают привлекательность. Не будем углубляться в механические спецификации, достаточно сказать, что немецкая точность соединена здесь с идеальным дизайном, жалко прятать такое внутри корпуса. С другой стороны на циферблате только одна стрелка, которая показывает время, и это традиционная черта продуктов Meistersinger, так что хотя бы в этом ваши часы будут выделяться.
