Yes, Aletta Stas created this new timepiece, so it is safe to say what’s written above. 🙂 New model posed several interesting tasks for its creators. First of all they saved feminine look without resorting quartz and installed new calibre. We will talk about this further in the article. As for external appearance, here the main challenge is to fit complex movement into thin case. We can all agree that thick case would look weird on women’s wrists. Well, here designers created thin slick “body”, which looks elegant and classic. Size of this case is 38.8 mm, what is quite reasonable for feminine watch.
Frederique Constant Slimline Moonphase Stars Manufacture features 60 diamonds (!) on the front. Those can be combined with rose gold steel version. Stainless steel option comes with stones too and might appeal to conservative taste. Well, typical classic combinations, which will look good with any outfit. Manufacturer compares those stones to stars, but it is up to you to agree or not. 🙂
Frederique Constant Slimline Moonphase Stars Manufacture – Galactic Inside
As I wrote above, new model comes with fresh caliber, which was developed specifically for this watch. Movement has name FC-701 and based on previous FC-70x types. The main feature here is adjustment of all functions with help of crown. I guess it should come handy for women who don’t want some complex controls on their timepiece. Moreover, here we have all functions, which can be expected on high-tier watch, except of date window. Well, I can guess that maybe it isn’t here because otherwise solid appearance will be broken with date window. From the other side – round window would suit this model and add another useful function.
Decent Companion
This is a completely new model, but it won’t be a problem to order one for your lady or for yourself (if you are lady 🙂 ). In the beginning you saw that I wrote about price level. Well, it’s not cheap and starts from $4395. For that sum you will get stainless steel version without stones around dial. Well, the only thing that would suit – small round date window. Moreover, don’t forget about alternatives from other Swiss grands, which might be attractive due to their smaller size.
