Bremen Classic Motorshow – Motorcycles

This time I will start publications of this year with the report from Bremen Classic Motorshow. Note that today’s article is dedicated to only motorcycles, and there will be a separate report about cars and about sales fair. Whole event is so large that there is no point to bump everything into one article. Moreover, there will be several videos on this topic as well as special detail shorts with some great bikes. All of these things will be gradually added here.
Here you can read about another interesting event.

What is it?

I think it is important to start with small introduction on why this event is important. It usually happens on the last week of January and opens up a season of classic shows, rallies and other activities. I visited it for the first time last year, but it was quite chaotic trip, so 2026 was asking for one more trip to the event. It is quite a journey from Prague, but I guess if you are okay with autobahn driving, it won’t be a problem for you.

Exhibition is held on grounds of Bremen Messe, so there is plenty of space to show the car, bikes and even sell some of them. Everything starts with motorcycle halls, that’s why it is the first report in the series. Two-wheel machines are placed in several areas, and you will find plenty of oldtimers including various racing bikes, scooters and even some bicycles.

What to see?

Right after main entrance you find yourself in the middle of racing bikes stands. There are plenty of classic vehicles, and some of them were even available for sale. It is interesting to see old legends being available for purchase, and prices were more or less reasonable in most cases.

Enter next hall and you will be greeted with huge amount of various Vespas. Different colors, versions are available, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You can see more in the video walkaround, so definitely check it out.

For me it is always interesting to see some special editions with unusual paintwork and accessories. Who knows, maybe next year I will finally pick one for collection. 😀

Show featured plenty of Italian motorcycles, and MotoGuzzi was presented in several guises. The one on the photo above is the most impressive in my opinion. White color bikes are underrated, and this is a perfect example for you.

Harleys and some Japanese brands were also there. Note the price on this Honda – only 3999 EUR for a one owner bike! Also you can see a whole collection of various fuel tanks in nice condition.

The One I Liked

I guess this will be new traditional section for our reports from shows. In motorcycles section it goes to BMW which you see on the photo above. This color combo is just a perfect match for German motorcycle, and I have to admit it looked impressive in person. Price was also quite reasonable for such bike.

It is classic R80GS, yes, but I like how good it looks even today, and you don’t have to shell out crazy amount as for the modern one.

Small amount of patina could be found, but this only added attraction to the whole look of this bike.

MIleage was 4xxxx km, what is not that serious for this type of engine. Overall this is definitely a nice offering, and probably will be yet another bike I regret not buying on spot. Last year it was Ducati in bright yellow which was also offered in range of 4-5k EUR.

For Those Who Look for Parts

As a sidenote, yes, you can find parts for your classic bike here. There are many vendors with quite wide choice of items. Various memorabilia is also not a problem, and this year I barely managed to check at least some of the stands there.

Bremen Classics – Worth Going Next Year?

In my opinion it is definitely “YES” as a reply to this question. It looks like event gets better and better with every year, and it might need a several days span in the future. I like how the layout is organised here, all halls are easy to navigate, and there is huge amount of various bikes to see. In some spots it might be too crowded, but what you can do if everyone wants to see that nice Honda or MotoGuzzi. 😀
Stay tuned for the report from Car Halls and also separate report from the car parking sales.
