Ok, I will admit it – in my mind this watchmaker equals to square timepieces. This is one of the reasons I am surprised to see today’s watch. Let me introduce you to new Bell&Ross BR V2-94, special edition of quite an interesting watch. I have to say that it looks quite elegant, so let’s take a closer look.
By the way, here you can read one of the recent reviews.

It looks like all watchmakers decided to supply rescue teams with special watch. Today’s model is not an exclusion from this rule. Just go to official website and check page of this model. Yep, photo with helicopter says it all. Moreover, let’s take a closer look at bezel. Do you see this “pulsometer” word? That scale should help specialist to count patient’s pulse. Quite a useful feature which should come handy even for us, simple people. 🙂 Of course it’s not rotatable, insert is made out of anodised aluminium. On the caseback you will find transparent insert with “Guarde Cotes” words on it.
Bell&Ross BR V2-94 as functional all-rounder
Now we can move to other features of this model. Unlike some other chronos, crown here is secured with guard from both sides. Moreover, this is a screw-down part for extra safety. Pushers also look sturdy with nice base parts. Should I say that whole composition just screams with masculinity? It’s even more impressive because at the same time model manages to stay elegant. Even usage of orange color doesn’t change impression. Subdials integration also looks decent and complete with watchface. Well, they also remind of some other analogue from different manufacturer, right? 🙂
Inside buyer can expect BR-CAL.301 movement. It’s based on chrono movement ETA 2894-2, which can be found in many other watches. That’s quite reliable movement and it was used in some other Bell&Ross creations. Moreover, case should provide waterproofing up to 100m.
Don’t expect crazy wide choice of color and straps options for Bell&Ross BR V2-94. The only thing you can choose – strap type and…..that’s all! I can only guess that rescue teams don’t need much variety on their wrists. As for the price – check it with your seller. 😉
