Today I would like to tell you about my impression from P67 Officer Pro gun metal watch, which I saw at Baselworld 2017. The very first thing that caught my eye at the stand of Traser company was a high-quality luminescence of these watches. It was especially well seen in almost complete darkness of the display.
Lime-colored Super-LuminaNova dial and trigalight powered hour markers and hands guarantee a nearly-all-condition visibility of the time. Trigalight technology uses luminescense of tritium. Yes, tritium is a radioactive material, but don’t worry – Traser guarantees that you won’t glow – only your watch will.
I think in terms of design the best way to describe this model is elegant simplicity, practicality and quality for affordable price. The new tracer model is equipped with quartz mechanism, enclosed in a stainless steel case and covered with scratch-resistant antireflective sapphire crystal. The diameter of P67 officer pro gun metal watch is 42mm. Note that one of the features – date window is placed at “3 o’clock”. The «12 o`clock» position is marked with an orange glow, making it easier for the watch to be oriented.
P67 Officer pro is also water-resistant (up to 10 bar). That in combination with good visibility of luminescent dial and numbers can be a great benefit for divers. New model is available in several colour options, including lime green and orange dials. Both versions utilize Super-Luminova technology.
Because the only strap option available is Italian-made natural rubber, I wouldn’t recommend wearing P67 Officer Pro gun metal with official suit unless you change the strap and would like to have something unusual on your wrist. For everyday use with casual cloths, uniform, and/or serious outdoor activities this model would be a good choice. My personal impression about these watch was very positive.
Price of P67 Officer Pro gun metal watch starts with 395 CHF. This model should be available form May 2017 and can be a decent everyday watch for your collection.
