This article will cover another release from Tag Heuer, which was presented on the recent SIHH. Main photo says it all – this is a new Aquaracer 300M Aluminium Bezel, and you can guess the main difference out of its name. Yes, here steel will be combined with aluminium, all this molded into 43mm case.

Series was launched in 2003 and each year we see different new editions of this model line. This time Tag Heuer decided to use special materials in order to achieve interesting appearance. Well, we all understand that aluminum is cheaper than ceramic previously used, so new type is certainly aimed on wider auditory. Moreover, there will be Quartz version available, so price difference should be noticeable. It will be interesting to try new version personally and compare it with previous one, even though difference in weight might be small.
Well, at least all other features are in place, so you can use Aquaracer in water (waterproof up to 300m) without being afraid about extra damage. All other features are carefully implemented – large luminous marks, screw-down crown and caseback with diver’s helmet on it.
As far as I understood, new model should be available immediately, so if you are in search for nice everyday watch, check those as a credible option. 😉
