New model comes as a nice surprise after previous classic releases from the same watchmaker. As you remember, those models didn’t have any special features. Behold! Today’s newcomer has something interesting to offer. I think name hints on the main function of this model – you should be able to track time around the world. There are 24 cities on the dial, and such feature might come handy for active travellers, who don’t have time for time change. Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture has outer rim with names of cities, what should help you check time here or there. Moreover, it is easy to notice world map on the dial. There is also quite unusual date indicator, which is placed at 6 o’clock mark. I can agree that such layout might take time to get used to, but it is not difficult.
Time Engine
Some might wonder why there is “Manufacture” in the name of this model. Yes, it is related to the movement. FC-718 is one of the things that make Frederique Constant proud. Take a careful look at the case – you won’t find any separate pushers. Everything is regulated with help of one crown. It looks good and it should be easy to operate. Power reserve equals to 43 hours, what is not that impressive, but should be enough for daily use. Note that green color is accompanied with alligator strap. Quite an unusual choice, but I think even simple green leather strap would look as good as what we see on the watch.

It might be the most interesting thing for some of you. Ok, price tag is set at 3500 CHF. In my opinion it is not such a steep price, but there are still plenty of rivals in this area. Well, you should choose according to your needs – world timers might come handy when you travel a lot. Moreover, green color will add nice shade to your accessories collection. 🙂
