I guess this week we are going to talk about various special releases, so here is another one – Breitiling Avenger Swiss Air Force Limited Edition. Watch comes as nice surprise from Swiss brand and celebrates 55th anniversary of Patrouille Suisse. Watchmaker is connected to flying things like no other company, so it was decided to release special version of the chronograph. Let’s take a look at what makes this watch different.

Big Silver Watch
First of all, new watch comes in quite large case with 45mm diameter. I would recommend to try it first because thin wrist won’t look good with such timepiece. We also get here unidirectional rotating crown which might be handy in some cases. Note that there are only four digits on this part.
Special thing on the new watch is the addition of flight group logo on the subdial at 9 o’clock mark. Yellow and red colors should also hint on the famous squadron. Those changes fit into standard design, so you should know where to look in order to find them. Whether it is good or not – your decision. Rear cover features engraving with stylized anniversary logo. Moreover, you will find info about limited run – “ONE of 550”.
Whole image is finished with black leather strap. This version is reserved only for Limited Edition release.
What’s Inside?
New watch is powered with Breitling Calibre 13 – COSC-certified chronograph movement. Power reserve equals to 48 hours what is not that impressive but should be enough for everyday use. Note that new watch is water-resistant up to 300 meters.

New watch should be limited to 550 pieces only. It might sound like a large run for Swiss watch but I can bet that they won’t last for long time. There is no word on pricing, but we can bet that it would be slightly more expensive than “standard” version. Next is matter of your decision – whether you are ok with basic edition or would like to have something a bit more rare.
