We all know that things with number “2” in the name should be taken with caution. Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Avantgarde 2 is a bit different case and it is worth taking closer look. Manufacturer decided to add several visual changes which make model even more interesting. As far as I understood, this model will be displayed on upcoming Inhorgenta exhibition, but we already have photos and some info.
I recommend to read about another special watch here on our website.

I remember first time I saw this model on Munichtime exhibition. This dial is a truly beauty to behold, but there was something distracting in that silver case. Yes, it looked nice, but now take a look at photos in this article. Black case – that is what was needed to bring even better focus on the crazy pattern. Traditional PVD coating was used to achieve this finish, and resulting combo looks way good. Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Avantgarde 2 can be also noted for special golden lines, which are present on the case. Nice touch which helps to break “black brick” perception of the watch case.
The most important thing on this model is the dial with its crazy patterns all over the space. Note that creators managed to fit date window here, which doesn’t break the image. Don’t search for any digits except of the date here – you won’t find them. Authors decided to emphasize modern role of the watch – the statement, not a tool as it used to be before. Like it or hate it, but there is no other option. What I can see as logical development of the line – square dial instead of current round one.
Alexander Shorokhoff Kandy Avantgarde 2 – Price
Price tag on this watch will be set at 3000 EUR. In my opinion it is not too much for such unusual watch. From press release I understood that new model comes as successor to the previous release. Well, there is no surprise because silver edition was released in limited amount. Newcomer is not different – there will be only 100 pieces produced. While all this seems cool, I have only one question to ask – what about transparent dial with see-through colored elements? 😉
