Just when you thought that two zones should be ok for the watch, Aerowatch has decided to release new model, which would be presented in Basel. Newcomer is named as 7 time zones, so it’s not difficult to understand the main feature here. 🙂 In addition to local time, new timepiece shows 6 other time zones!

Movement is a creation of Fred-Eric Bolzli, horological expert. Watch is based on manually wound Unitas caliber. Size of the satin stainless steel case is 44mm, which is not that big for such features. Overall design is symmetrical and reflects historical conventions of the proportion. Pusher which is located at 10 o’clock and used to set the local time. Other dials would remain unaffected during setting the local time. Adjustment would be needed only when traveling through the time zones. The lavishly finished movement reflects state-of-the-art craftsmanship. On the movement side, the plate is decorated with Geneva striping, accentuated with the vibrant gloss of blued screws.
Механизм был создан Фред-Эриком Болцли, часовым экспертом. Новинка основана на механизме ручного завода Unitas. Размер металлического корпуса составляет 44мм, что не много для таких функций. Дизайн полностью симметричен и подчиняется историческим принципам пропорции. Кнопка, которая размещена у 10 часов используется для установки местного времени. Другие шкалы останутся незменными во время изменения показаний главного циферблата. Аккуратно собранный механизм представляет собой мастерскую работу. С внутренней стороны крышка украшена женевским узором и дополнена синими болтами.
